The HomeSaver Pro stainless steel chimney cap is made of 100% 304 stainless steel, right down to its pointed, slotted, hex-headed set-screws.
The one-piece, 8" high screen is heavy, 18-ga., 3/4" mesh, and the top is hand-finished with a rolled edge.
Fit outside flue dimensions as follows:
8" x 8" fits 6.5" to 6.5" x 9" x 9"
8" x 13" fits 6.5" x 11.5" to 9" x 14"
8" x 17" fits 6.5" x 16.5" to 9" x 19"
13" x 13" fits 11.5" x 11.5" to 14" x 14"
13" x 17" fits 11.5" x 16.5" to 14" x 19"
17" x 17" fits 16.5" x 16.5" to 19" x 19"

I purchased both the 8" (fits 9") Chimney cap and the 13" Chimney caps. They are the same height which doesn't work from aesthetic point of view. The *" cap looks taller than the 13" due its smaller footprint. The 8" cap should be approximately 40% shorter in order to maintain the overall look of the 13" cap. Thanks for your comments. The caps are made at this height so the chimney will draft properly. If they are shorter it will impede the draft.
