It is a top mount chimney damper that is installed on top of your chimney flue and has a line that attaches to the side of the firebox to open and close it.
Fits Inside Flue Sizes 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" to 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" and has a Cross-Sectional Area of 30 sq. inches.
